Meanwhile, Harper Creek entered their tilt with Lakeview on Saturday with 16 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 17. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Spartans.
Harper Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-23, 15-8.
Harper Creek relied on the efforts of Taegen Anderson, who had three digs and 33 assists, and Ella Chantrenne, who hit 80% for eight kills15 digs. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last 47 games she's played dating back to last season.
