Baseball Recap: Riverview Comes Up Short

Riverview lost against Lennard back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sharks lost 27-4 to the Longhorns. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Driston Marino, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Yadiel Rivera-Morales also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Riverview now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Lennard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Riverview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Gaither on the 29th. As for Lennard, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Strawberry Crest on the 29th.
