Montpelier had won four straight games and Atif Milak did his part to make it five on Monday. The Montpelier Solons took their contest with ease, bagging a 99-44 win over the U-32 Raiders thanks in part to Milak, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Milak is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Carter Bruzzese was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave him a new career-high.

Montpelier's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.8 points. As for U-32, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montpelier will square off against Lyndon Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montpelier knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Lyndon Institute likes a good challenge. As for U-32, they will face off against Lamoille at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
