Basketball Recap: Escalante Takes a Loss

Escalante was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-20 loss at the hands of the McCurdy Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-32 back in January.

Escalante's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for McCurdy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mesa Vista the next time they take the court. McCurdy will host Mesa Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Escalante will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.
