Batavia is a perfect 8-0 against Lake Park since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. This will be Batavia's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

In Saturday's Canine Competition, Batavia had to make due with a tie. They and Oswego East finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw last Saturday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Batavia's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Lake Park brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They never let St. Edward get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Lake Park's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Lake Park's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Batavia's draw makes their record 2-2-1 this season.

Everything went Batavia's way against Lake Park in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Batavia made off with a 4-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
