Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Arvin

The North Stars will take on the Arvin Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

North managed to keep up with West until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. North lost 4-1 to West.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Arvin's offense. They came up short against Mira Monte on Wednesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 827th, while the Lions are ranked 170th).

Arvin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-3 record this season. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.
