After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mars Hill Academy, Dominion Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past East Dayton Christian 3-2. The Sabers haven't had any issues with East Dayton Christian recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Dominion Academy wouldn't go down easily and took East Dayton Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-8, 22-25, 20-25, 15-13.

Willow Throop paced Dominion Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Throop got some help from Hannah Park and her ten assists. Hannah Cannida controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Dominion Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for East Dayton Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Dominion Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Spring Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Dayton Christian has already played their next match (against Jefferson Township), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
