While Rappahannock's win against Northumberland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Raiders made off with a 21-20 victory over the Indians. The game was the first time the Raiders have beaten the Indians on their field since November 1, 2021.

It was another big night for Cj Kelly, who rushed for 250 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Kelly was just one part of a punishing run game: Rappahannock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 271 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northumberland only rushed for 86.

Rappahannock's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Northumberland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
