Volleyball Recap: Stoneman Douglas Eagles vs. Plantation Colonels
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monarch, Stoneman Douglas was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Plantation Colonels.
The win didn't come easy: Plantation scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20.
The victory got Stoneman Douglas back to even at 5-5. As for Plantation, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Looking ahead, Stoneman Douglas will square off against Coral Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
