Melbourne is 10-0 against Heritage since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Melbourne Bulldogs will face off against the Heritage Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Melbourne is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Bayside back in December of 2024. Melbourne and Bayside finished up their match with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. 2025 welcomed they with an 8-0 loss courtesy of Space Coast.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. Melbourne's draw gives them a new season record of 10-1-1.

Melbourne took their win against Heritage when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Melbourne since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
