The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Comets: they've now lost four in a row.

Belle Chasse's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for St. Charles Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.

Belle Chasse has already played their next match, a 36-31 loss against Franklinton on the 4th. As for St. Charles Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Riverside Academy at 6:10 p.m. The timing is sure in St. Charles Catholic's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Riverside Academy has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
