Softball Recap: Frenship's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Frenship unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Floydada Whirlwinds, falling 8-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Frenship's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Floydada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Frenship has already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against San Angelo Central on the 25th. As for Floydada, they will face off against Clarendon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarendon will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Floydada surely won't give up without a fight.
