Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Carteret walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Currituck County Knights on Tuesday. West Carteret were shut out 4-0 the last time they took on Currituck County, so West Carteret were just returning the favor.

Tucker Dickinson and Kyle Pinckard scored all three of West Carteret's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

West Carteret's victory bumped their record up to 5-11-2. As for Currituck County, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 12-9-2 record.

As of now, neither West Carteret nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
