Baseball Recap: East Takes a Loss

Livonia hit East with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-5. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly two runs.

East's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Livonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will welcome Palmyra-Macedon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Livonia, they will take on Le Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
