Soccer Game Preview: Central Valley Christian vs. Hanford

The Central Valley Christian Cavaliers will be taking part in a tournament against the Hanford Bullpups at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Central Valley Christian is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Fowler, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Hanford hadn't done well against El Diamante recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Hanford skirted past El Diamante 1-0. The Bullpups wouldn't have won without Damian Ortiz, who scored the game-winner.

Central Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hanford, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-2.
