Basketball Game Preview: Inderkum Tigers vs. Folsom Bulldogs

The Inderkum Tigers will square off against the Folsom Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Inderkum comes in on seven and Folsom on ten.

Inderkum is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down Monterey Trail 47-33. The Tigers pushed the score to 43-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

Jamiah Fontenberry was her usual excellent self, putting up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydnee Scarborough, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Folsom took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 84-31 victory over Edison. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 27 points or more this season.

Folsom's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 45.5 points. As for Inderkum, their victory bumped their record up to 22-7.

Inderkum took a serious blow against Folsom when the teams last played back in February of 2022, falling 81-30. Can Inderkum avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
