Volleyball Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Citronelle suffered their biggest loss since October 17, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Faith Academy Rams, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-12.

Faith Academy found their leader in sophomore Madison Cline, who had nine aces and three digs. Cline is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Citronelle's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Faith Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Citronelle will square off against LeFlore at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Faith Academy, they will challenge Baker at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
