Volleyball Recap: McKinley Bulldogs vs. Green Bulldogs
McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Green Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to McKinley of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-8.
Green was led to victory by Libby Hubert and Addison Cline. Hubert had 16 digs, while Cline had three kills, three digs, and two aces. Hubert has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.
McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Green, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.
McKinley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 12th. After both having extra time off, Green and Hudson will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on October 23rd. Hudson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Green surely won't give up without a fight.
