Softball Recap: La Sierra Academy Takes a Loss

La Sierra Academy played against United Christian Academy on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

La Sierra Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for United Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Coming up, La Sierra Academy will face off against Sherman Indian at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.83 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for United Christian Academy, they will challenge Bethel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Eagles have won nine straight at home dating back to last season, while the Kings won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
