Franklin's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Pleasant Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Franklin ended up a good deal behind Pleasant Grove when the teams last played back in September of 2023, losing 37-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Beals, who rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns.
