Sandburg had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came out on top against the Oak Lawn Spartans by a score of 54-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Sandburg's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Oak Lawn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-10.
