Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mckenzie Durbin and Lacie Watts Lead Northside to Victory

Northside not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Beauregard Hornets 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-17.

Northside was led to victory by Lacie Watts and Mckenzie Durbin. Watts had six aces, five digs, and one block, while Durbin had 14 digs and three aces. Watts is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

Northside's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-16. As for Beauregard, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beauregard, they will head out to face off against Opelika at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
