After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gloucester, Bethel was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hampton Crabbers a 4-0 shutout. Considering Bethel's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Bethel's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Hampton, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Bethel are facing Heritage at the right time seeing as Heritage are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Hampton, they will challenge Menchville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Menchville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Hampton surely won't give up without a fight.
