Heritage Academy faced Tri-City Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Heroes were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Warriors. Considering Heritage Academy have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Tri-City Christian Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabella Gomez (3), Taylor Park, Yazmine Caceres, and Brysia Leon-Lucero.

The win was the third in a row for Heritage Academy, bringing their record up to 8-1-1. As for Tri-City Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
