Softball Recap: De Anza Takes a Loss

De Anza fell victim to Pinole Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Spartans. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

De Anza's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Pinole Valley, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. De Anza will square off against rival Albany at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Pinole Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe El Cerrito at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
