Dynamic duo of Jose Topete-lopez and Dominic Van egdom lead Alcester-Hudson to victory

Recap: Alcester-Hudson Cubs vs. Scotland Highlanders
The Alcester-Hudson Cubs posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Scotland as Alcester-Hudson made off with a 62-37 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Alcester-Hudson has posted against Scotland since January 21, 2019.
Alcester-Hudson was led to victory by Jose Topete-lopez and Dominic Van egdom. Topete-lopez scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks, while Van egdom dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Topete-lopez posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Bovill, who scored 14 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Alcester-Hudson and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Scotland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Alcester-Hudson will head out on the road to square off against Viborg/Hurley at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Viborg/Hurley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 578 points over their last nine games. Scotland will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Beresford at 10:30 a.m. on January 27th.
