Basketball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

Seminole lost against Prague back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Seminole Chieftains lost to the Prague Red Devils on the road by a 49-34 margin. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Red Devils are ranked 181st).

This is the second loss in a row for Seminole and nudges their season record down to 1-12. As for Prague, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Seminole has already played their next match (against Tecumseh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Prague wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-39 win against Stroud on the 25th.
