Volleyball Game Preview: Max S. Hayes Lakers vs. Bard Early College Raptors

Max S. Hayes hasn't had much luck against Bard Early College recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lakers will head out to take on the Raptors at 6:00 p.m. Max S. Hayes is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Max S. Hayes proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out St. Martin de Porres 3-2.

In the three sets Max S. Hayes was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 0-25, 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bard Early College's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Brecksville-Broadview Heights by a score of 2-1.

Bard Early College's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Max S. Hayes, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Max S. Hayes suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bard Early College in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Lakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
