Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest Guilford). They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 victory over the Southeast Guilford Falcons on Thursday. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Northwest Guilford's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Southeast Guilford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Guilford will head out to face off against Ragsdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Guilford, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and Western Guilford meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
