Volleyball Recap: Gisela Hanna Key Part of Team Effort in Mustangs Win

Lutheran North won the last time they faced Parkway Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gisela Hanna, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Hanna a new career-high.

Hanna wasn't the only good servers: Lutheran North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Lutheran North's win bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Parkway Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Lutheran North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Armada on the 11th. Parkway Christian has also already played their next matchup (against Austin Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
