Soccer Game Preview: Christian vs. High Tech SD

The Christian Patriots will challenge the High Tech SD Storm at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Last Thursday, Christian earned a 3-1 win over Logan Memorial Education Campus. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Jeremiah Pekary and Steven Benson scored all three of Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, High Tech SD brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on Logan Memorial Education Campus with a sharp 4-1 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Storm's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4-3. As for High Tech SD, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-16-2.

Christian beat High Tech SD by a goal in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-1. Will Christian repeat their success, or does High Tech SD have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
