Basketball Recap: Marmaduke Comes Up Short

Marmaduke suffered their closest loss since November 4, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Riverside Rebels by a score of 57-54. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Marmaduke's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marmaduke will square off against Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside, they will face off against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
