Recap: Living Water Homeschool Marlins vs. Wabash Valley HomeSchool Warriors
The Living Water Homeschool Marlins were the 61-59 winner over the Wabash Valley HomeSchool Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Living Water Homeschool took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wabash Valley HomeSchool on Friday. Living Water Homeschool has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wabash Valley HomeSchool's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asa Shepherd, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Shepherd pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Wallace, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Living Water Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Wabash Valley HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.
Living Water Homeschool will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Columbus HomeSchool at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. One thing working in Columbus HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games. As for Wabash Valley HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m.
