St. Francis is 7-1 against De La Salle since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Meteors at 11:00 a.m. St. Francis will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

St. Francis' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Trinity as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Spartans have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, De La Salle's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Hinsdale Central, falling 11-5.

Samara Agredano made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mya Alvarez, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

St. Francis pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for De La Salle, their loss dropped their record down to 23-8.
