Volleyball Recap: Alma Comes Up Short

Alma lost against Siloam Springs back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Airedales came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-12.

Siloam Springs was led to victory by Cenzi Johnson and Yanah Lee. Johnson had 17 digs and two aces, while Lee had 11 digs and three assists. Carsyn Ireland also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Alma's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11. As for Siloam Springs, their record is now 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Alma will challenge rival Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Siloam Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
