Buena is a perfect 10-0 against Desert View since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buena Colts will face off against the Desert View Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Buena has three straight victories, Desert View has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Buena took their matchup with ease, bagging a 73-32 win over Nogales. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Desert View took on Cienega on Friday. Desert View was dealt a 108-44 loss at the hands of Cienega. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Bobcats are ranked 44th).

Buena's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points over those games. As for Desert View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.

Everything came up roses for Buena against Desert View in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured an 84-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buena since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
