Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Atlanta Jewish Academy

The Heritage Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Heritage will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Holy Spirit Prep, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Hawks who were credited with the win on Tuesday. Heritage got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Holy Spirit Prep's four.

The Hawks hit the Cougars with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sarah Kate Johnston, Maddie Brenan, and Lucy Downs.

Atlanta Jewish Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against St. Mary's Academy on Monday as they made off with a 5-0 victory. Considering Atlanta Jewish Academy have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Atlanta Jewish Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two games. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.
