First Flight skates past Pasquotank County with ease

Recap: First Flight Nighthawks vs. Pasquotank County Panthers

The First Flight Nighthawks can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They claimed a resounding 57-26 win over Pasquotank County at home. Winning may never get old, but First Flight sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

First Flight's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josephine Voight, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Voight hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Gardill, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five steals.

Despite the loss, Pasquotank County still got an impressive performance from Anylah Bowe, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and 11 blocks. Bowe is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.

First Flight has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Pasquotank County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

First Flight will head out on the road to take on Currituck County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pasquotank County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
