Football Recap: Mullen Broncos vs. Sandhills Valley Mavericks
Mullen had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Sandhills Valley Mavericks on Friday, falling 42-22. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Mullen will be playing at home against Maywood/Hayes Center at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sandhills Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Perkins County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
