Volleyball Recap: Rancho Cotate Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Rancho Cotate took on Analy on Tuesday. Rancho Cotate came up short against Analy, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-11.

Rancho Cotate has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. Analy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rancho Cotate is set to face off against their familiar foe American Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Analy will square off against rival Sonoma Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
