Rowan County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in four consecutive matches.
Rowan County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Estill County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Estill County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .314.
