Football Recap: Richland Northeast Cavaliers vs. Camden Bulldogs
Richland Northeast had lost four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it five. They were beaten by the Camden Bulldogs 61-15. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
As for Camden, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1. The game marked their most dominant win of the season so far.
Greyson Rimpf was his usual excellent self, throwing for 371 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (168.8). Camden's leading receiver Will Haunert was Rimpf's top target yet again, picking up 147 receiving yards and three TDs.
