Soccer Recap: Tipton Gets the Win

Tipton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers a 4-0 shutout. Kendall Coe was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Tipton's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton will head out to square off against Hamilton Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton Heights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tipton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Elwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
