Softball Recap: Excel Comes Up Short

Excel has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.71 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 14-1 to the Thomasville Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since March 1st.

This is the second loss in a row for Excel and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Thomasville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
