Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Princess Anne). They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Tallwood Lions on Wednesday. With Princess Anne ahead 6-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Princess Anne has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-1-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those eight contests. As for Tallwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Princess Anne will be playing at home against Kellam at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kellam will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Princess Anne surely won't give up without a fight.
