Baseball Recap: South Park Comes Up Short

South Park fell victim to South Allegheny and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Gladiators by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

South Park's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for South Allegheny, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Park will venture away from home to square off against South Fayette at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Allegheny, they will head out to take on Steel Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
