Basketball Game Preview: Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers vs. Perrydale Pirates

The Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers will venture away from home to take on the Perrydale Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter will be strutting in after a win while Perrydale will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter was fully in charge, breezing past Triangle Lake 49-22. The Mountaineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Perrydale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 53-26 loss at the hands of East Linn Christian Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since February 2, 2024.

Perrydale's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Falls City/Kings Valley Charter, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Falls City/Kings Valley Charter took a serious blow against Perrydale in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 57-25. Can Falls City/Kings Valley Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
