Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Takes a Loss

Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders. If the Ravens were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rough Riders when the teams met back in October of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-5, 25-7.

Mackenzie Ervin paced Ravenna's offense, picking up two kills. Ervin got some help from Jordyn Allen and her four assists. Jalysia Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 4-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Ravenna will head out on the road to square off against Field at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
