Basketball Recap: Anderson County Comes Up Short

Anderson County lost against Seymour back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Anderson County Mavericks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to the Seymour Eagles.

Anderson County dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Seymour, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

Anderson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they will challenge Cocke County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cocke County will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Seymour surely won't give up without a fight.
