Baseball Recap: West St. Mary Comes Up Short

West St. Mary fell victim to Delcambre and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Delcambre Panthers, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Wolfpack's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Delcambre, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

West St. Mary is taking a road trip to challenge Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. West St. Mary has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Delcambre, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Delcambre Panthers face off against Lake Arthur Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
